Singapore Divorce Digital Tools and Government Portals — A Complete Directory

Singapore's post-divorce administrative tasks are spread across at least half a dozen government agencies — and each one has its own portal, its own login flow, and its own forms. The good news is that most of these tasks can now be done digitally. The bad news is that nobody hands you a single directory of what exists and where to find it.

Here's every digital tool and portal you'll need during the post-divorce transition, organised by what each one does.

eLitigation — Court Documents and Filing

What it is: The Judiciary's electronic filing and case management system, operated by CrimsonLogic. This is where civil divorce cases are filed, managed, and where you retrieve court documents after proceedings conclude.

What you'll use it for post-divorce:

• Retrieving the Authentic Court Order (ACO) — a digitally verifiable copy of your divorce order, downloadable with your Singpass
• Filing enforcement applications if your ex-spouse doesn't comply with court orders
• Accessing historical case documents for reference

Access: judiciary.gov.sg → Singpass login. For cases filed before the eLitigation era (pre-2014), you'll need to request physical certified true copies through the eLitigation Service Bureau at a fee.

The Family Justice Courts replaced the old Writ of Summons with a single Originating Application system under the Family Justice Rules 2024 (effective 15 October 2024), so the interface has changed if you last used it before that date.

CPF ClauseComposer — Drafting CPF Division Clauses

What it is: A CPF Board tool that helps parties and their lawyers draft standardised clauses for court orders involving CPF money division. Using ClauseComposer templates helps align the wording with CPF requirements and reduces the risk of the CPF Board rejecting a court order because it uses non-compliant language.

What you'll use it for:

• Drafting CPF transfer or charging order clauses aligned with CPF requirements
• Checking whether your court order needs to be submitted to the CPF Board
• Understanding the difference between transfer orders (CPF-to-CPF) and charging orders (CPF-to-cash)

Access: Available via FormSG at form.gov.sg. The CPF Board also has a Submission Wizard that tells you whether your specific court order requires Board notification.

Why it matters: The closure of Special Accounts for members aged 55 and above (19 January 2025) means court orders referencing SA transfers may be un-executable. ClauseComposer helps align the wording with CPF requirements, but you should still check the member's active accounts before finalising the order.

MyLegacy@LifeSG — Estate Planning After Divorce

What it is: A government portal under LifeSG that provides end-of-life planning guidance and links to tools for wills, Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) management, CPF nomination guidance, and advance care planning.

What you'll use it for:

• Reviewing how to update your will after divorce (since divorce doesn't revoke your existing will)
• Finding the forms and instructions for LPA donee changes after divorce
• Reviewing your advance care plan and updating your nominated decision-makers
• Organising your planning documents and instructions

Access: mylegacy.life.gov.sg → Singpass login.

If your ex-spouse was your LPA donee, you need to notify the Office of the Public Guardian within 14 days of the Final Judgment using the LPA Change of Particulars Form — MyLegacy links to the relevant forms.

HDB Housing Options Explorer — Post-Divorce Housing Eligibility

What it is: An HDB tool that helps you evaluate your eligibility to retain, purchase, or rent an HDB flat based on your current circumstances — including changes triggered by divorce.

What you'll use it for:

• Checking whether you may qualify to retain the matrimonial HDB flat as a single owner (Singles Scheme for citizens aged 35+, or a Family Scheme route if you have care and control of children, subject to HDB's eligibility requirements)
• Exploring rental options if you need to surrender the flat
• Understanding Minimum Occupation Period constraints on selling or transferring

Access: Available on hdb.gov.sg under "Buying a Flat" or "Managing My Home."

Key constraint: A Permanent Resident cannot retain an HDB flat alone; at least one person listed on the flat must be a Singapore Citizen, subject to HDB's prevailing eligibility requirements.

iFAMS — Maintenance Applications and Enforcement

What it is: The Integrated Family Application Management System, used for filing maintenance-related applications online.

What you'll use it for:

• Filing for maintenance enforcement if payments stop or are irregular
• Submitting variation applications if circumstances change (income loss, relocation)
• Tracking the status of maintenance applications

Access: ifams.gov.sg → Singpass login.

Since 16 January 2025, the new Maintenance Enforcement Process allows the court to appoint a Maintenance Enforcement Officer (MEO). If appointed, the MEO can obtain financial records directly from employers, banks, and government agencies — so enforcement has real teeth. The respondent pays a S$180 service fee for the MEO's involvement.

CPF Website — Nominations, Balance Checks, Division Tracking

What you'll use it for:

• Updating your CPF nomination — "My Requests" → "Make/Change CPF Nomination" (requires two eligible witnesses; follow the CPF Board's current process)
• Checking your account balances after CPF division is executed
• Reviewing your Home Ownership Dashboard for housing refund calculations
• Confirming that a transfer or charging order has been processed

Access: cpf.gov.sg → Singpass login.

IRAS — Tax Filing Status and Stamp Duty

What you'll use it for:

• Updating your filing status from married to single
• Claiming relevant tax reliefs (Qualifying Child Relief, Working Mother's Child Relief, etc.)
• Checking stamp duty assessments for property transfers
• Checking whether ABSD remission may apply to a matrimonial property transfer and following IRAS's application process

Access: iras.gov.sg → Singpass login.

ICA — Name Change and Identity Documents

What you'll use it for:

• Applying for NRIC replacement after a deed poll name change (must be done within 28 days)
• Replacing your passport to reflect the updated name (S$70 online)
• Updating PR details if applicable

Access: ica.gov.sg → Singpass login. After NRIC update, your new name auto-syncs with Singpass, CPF, and IRAS.

What Doesn't Auto-Sync: Manual Updates You'll Need to Make

Government agencies sync through Singpass once your NRIC is updated — but private institutions don't. You'll need to manually notify:

• Banks — present the deed poll and updated NRIC at a branch
• Insurance companies — update beneficiary nominations and policyholder details
• Employer HR — update payroll records, insurance enrolment, emergency contacts
• Children's school — update parent contact details, authorised pick-up persons, custody documentation
• SP Group / City Energy — transfer or close utility accounts (SP Group requires a Change of Ownership form within 3 days of final meter readings)
• Telecom, subscriptions, memberships — anything registered under your married name or joint account
