Week 1: File the Complaint, Summons, MAI Sheet, and ARO at the courthouse counter. Pay the filing fee ($215 or $265).

Weeks 1-3: Serve your spouse. The fastest method — an Appearance and Waiver signed by your spouse before a notary — can be done in days. Personal service through a process server or certified mail takes longer.

Weeks 2-4: Both spouses complete and sign financial disclosure statements (Income and Expense, Asset and Debt). If children are involved, schedule and attend Kids First.

Weeks 4-6: Assemble the final packet — Affidavit of Plaintiff, proposed Divorce Decree, Request for Non-Hearing, all financial statements, service proof, and two SASEs — and submit to the clerk.

Weeks 6-10: The judge reviews the packet on paper and either signs the decree or returns the packet for corrections.
